Clemson needed that one like nobody's business. When it got to 21-14 UGA I was expecting to see the fold. Now the door is open for them. Boyd is a man out there. Venables still has to show folks what the fuss was about.

He played in the sticks in eastern NC (Tarboro) and his partner in crime Keith Marshall played at a HS 2 miles from me. UGA stole these 2 away. Marshall was actually the higher ranked recruit coming out as odd as that seems today.

I didn't know this. Tajh Boyd originally committed to Tennessee, then Tennessee hired Lane Kiffin. Kiffin told Boyd he wouldn't play at Tennessee, so Boyd decommitted and went to Clemson. You think Kiffin would like Boyd at Southern Cal now? I'd take Boyd over Matt Barkley today.

but they have some other GLARING areas to fix and if there is a player at qb, S, a real OLB, or CB (wow it seems like the same needs on a yearly basis) I'd rather they went that route. Maclin will be back next year relatively cheap with a lot to play for so I think they will be set at wr. They really need to get some players on defense.
