    So, the Eagles wind up with one of the poorest defenses in the league this season and the best players available are all on the Offensive side. We take them because they are the "best" available and let the D continue to suck???? L

    The "best player available" strategy is an admission that they don't have the ability to identify need and fill it. It is a plan for losers. Howie should have been on the same train out of town as Reid.

      with players and picks- like SF this year when they took Lattimore.

      I think most teams lean towards era's of need to some extent. Some lean much hardeer than others. I think towards the end of Reid's tenure they were going "all in" with drafting era's of need.

        500 internet fights, that's the number I figured when I first joined igglephans. 500 internet fights and you could consider yourself a legitimate internet-tough guy. You need them for experience, to develop leather skin. So I got started. Of course along the way you stop thinking about being tough and all that. It stops being the point. You get past the silliness of it all. But then...after...you realize that's what you are.
