    that's a start.

i still think it's ridiculous and very 'eagles' for them to let him do a radio show. there's nothing good that can come from him opening his mouth for an hour a week.

He also said that it was an organizational decision to....

....select players in the first three rounds based on NEED! WTF was I saying yesterday BEFORE this interview???? He is now saying that that was WRONG and they are now going to target the BEST PLAYER AVAILABLE.

Drafting for need is not necessarily doomed to fail, unless you have a haberdasher, his intern, and a fat fuck doing the drafting.

        Very true, counselor.

Very true. What a bunch of hacks. I swear to God there are people on this board who could do better.

It's going to take a long time before the stink of Reid and Banner is gone from this organization.

making that statement at some point after the season ended. Said the philosophy going forward would be to take the best player available. No revelation there and there will be no revelations on any of the future shows. May as well have Reid come back and do his Monday shit show on WIP.
            You think its a joke!?!

I'm glad Tom Gamble is here, put it that way.

I will pick up any significant highlights from it here. I cringe every time I hear that guy interviewed.

All hate, 24/7. Really doesn't matter who Lurie hires, who does what, or how someone arrives.

Nobody on this board has ever, ever, not even a little bit, made a mistake at work. Not even a slight one. Total perfection for an entire life.

Nobody has taken a 15 year path from intern in 1999 to executive in that span. Funnily enough, the organization I work for has a General Manager who, sure enough, started as an unpaid intern in the 90's. But then again, I suppose she didn't really work for it.

It's impossible. People must be born with dna that permits them to do their hallowed job that no other except the sons of that industry's legends could possibly understand. It's all too mystical for a layperson to ever learn.

And if you make any mistakes along the way, it is a sure sign that you can never, ever be qualified to do anything of merit for life.

                    Mrs. Roseman,

It's okay, we think your son is doing a great job!

Oh I'm sure she "worked" for it, alright.

Why are you talking about business? This is sports! This is something noble where players play for the love of the game and owners want to win at all costs.

What makes you think that you can come in here and pretend it's a business with employees, learning curves, etc.?
