I work with a lot of students over the summer. You'd be surprised how many are exactly the opposite of your description.

I gotta say it is weird how much he obsesses over someone's politics. Especially when he mixes it with sports.

I think I've seen too many schools lose their certification here, and made friends with enough teachers who say how hard it is to just get kids to show up (let alone give a fuck), to think you're dealing with the majority.
