I do not think I have been so happy to drive up to Philly since the "TO" home opener. My excitement is tempered because I had no real expectations for this coming season. The fact Kelly and company beat a rusty RG3 and moved out to 33-6 lead in the first half made me feel good to be a Eagles fan and did not want the first half to end. But It does not change my feelings about the seasons expectations.
What sold me about Kelly after the game was his candor and how everyone to a man on the team said they had fun and how much they enjoyed playing on this team. This is not the Andy Reid Eagles anymore. Maybe its the "new girlfriend" syndrome but Sunday can not come soon enough.
We can end up with a winning record this season, I do not know about the playoffs or anything like that but the joy of going to watch this organization is coming back after a few very stale years.
