  • Would Randall Cunningham have worked in the Chip Kelly offense?

Randall was never really coached properly, and it's unclear to me if he could have been coached properly. But for some reason I think he would have been the perfect fit for an offense like Kelly runs.

Perfectly suited for him. Wish he was here instead of Vick.

would have to be much better than when he played. A lot of the reason a QB seems to be able to have success in a Kelly offense is because of the supporting cast. I agree with Randall fitting nicely, but the strength of the other pieces would be equally important.

Also-Randall's enlongated throwing motion might have been an odd fit.

          He worked in Billick's

He was a chicken choking kicker away from getting a ring, most likely. And he was on the downside at that point.

I think the right coach could've made Randall unstoppable.

              Better fit than Kaepernick.

There are a half dozen QBs coming out of college every year now who will fit the offense. Available talent shouldn't be a problem. Making the best choice could be.

                Randall's kid

Randall's kid looks and plays a lot like him. He's a senior in high school.

2017 or 18 draft pick. Wonder if he'll fall to the second round like pops.

Thought the same thing today watching college games, including the Ducks game against TN.

And speaking of 2nd generation, Barry Sanders' kid is a redshirt freshman at Stanford. He doesn't just look like dad, he looks like a clone. In the NFL by 2016 or 17. Just about the time philly will need to replace Shady.

You need them for experience, to develop leather skin. So I got started. Of course along the way you stop thinking about being tough and all that. It stops being the point. You get past the silliness of it all. But then...after...you realize that's what you are.
