I have a goddman grub infestation. Fortunately it seems to be contained to the front yard
(god forbid it happened in the back where the dog shits). How much would it cost to completely rip up the front yard, lay down top soil, and reseed with quality grass seed? We are talking about a total of just shy of 2000 sq feet (1,850 approx). I assume sod would cost more than seeding.

Too late to get the grubs now, they arent feeding anymore. Wait until spring, mid May and put the grub insecticide down again. They will be feeding again then and will injest the insecticide. You don't have to rip the lawn up. Put 1/2" of top soil down and seed it.
