That's from one of his summers working as a bellhop at Kutsher's in the Catskills, a resort that hosted great summer league play and the Maurice Stokes benefit game. Kutsher's was a magnet for NBA stars of the 50s and 60s.

Because of the territorial draft, Red Auerbach tried to talk Wilt, a good student, into attending Harvard that particular summer.
