  • Lesean McCoy is wasted here

I know it would be impossible to fathom, but the Eagles might consider taking a page from baseball and basketball. When your roster is this weak you're wasting the little bit of talent you do have. Trade the best you have for the opportunity to fix the rest of the roster. McCoy is wasted.

You could get a 1st rounder and maybe a little more for him. This team is going to get a top 10 pick of their own. Add another and start the ascent back to respectability.

It's one thing for fans to be overly optimistic. That's what fans do. Always wanting to believe. But if the coaches and front office are deluding themselves too, then you have no hope. The roster is pathetic. If Chip didn't know before, he has to know now.

Get something for McCoy while you can. Maybe Jackson too.

you have to say to yourself...what would fix this roster?

I think on offense, you just need Maclin back or bring in another legit WR. You've got your OL in tact. TE of the future. RB and backup RB. Vick is a question mark but I think he bounces back.

On D, you need a NT, CB and 2 safeties. Probably can fill 2 of 4 of those in FA and 2 of those in the draft.

the fix isnt monumental. I think you can come back next year with 6 new players and be a much better team

He would lose the team if he traded McCoy.

Teams can turn around fast in football. Shady has over 500 yards from scrimmage and is averaging 6.4 yards per carry through 3 games. I would hate to imagine what this team would look like without him. The Eagles currently have the only good offense in the NFL that runs through its RB.

You don't trade your best player on the team.

They have to draft all Defense next yr with Tom Gamble at the Helm. They need another WR also.

I think the O Line is also overrated. They aren't the worst part of the team, but people are talking as if they're all world. They aren't.

Mathis is old. Peters is old. Kelce is small. That part of the team also needs a rebuild before too long.

Drafting for need is a monumental mistake. It's what Reid did the last several years and led the team to where they are now!!!

Always, always, always draft the BPA. No matter the position. Especially holds true in the top three rounds but applies to all seven.

Sorry to break it to you, but 31 isn't that old for offensive linemen. Kelce isn't going anywhere. He's one of the best run-blockers in the league and this offense runs through the running game. Herremans is the weak link to me.

according to who? I see all over the place that these players are touted based on mysticism or something. Kelce is not one of the best anything in the NFL. He's a 6th round draft pick playing interior O Line at 285 pounds.

Leading the league in rushing does not win a team many games. The NFL is a passing league. That's here to stay.

actually, go to pro football focus...they use a grading method for all players.

They have mathis as the highest rated guard in football and kelce as being not that bad.

Kelce is better than Fraley or Jackson ever was.
Lane is a rookie. Peters is all world. Mathis is ok. Herremans has been terrible.

You only need to make 1 move on the OL.

Yes this team sucks, but look at the roster and its 6 starters away from being a playoff team. If they can find those starters in the offseason, they're a playoff team next year

Yeah. I know. That's been talked about. By NFL coaches. Those kind of sites are laughingstocks. Even the best minds in the league, actually working for NFL teams, have zero idea what a player was asked to do on any play.

You can't grade a player when you have zero information about what his assigned task was on any play. Those sites are jokes. Arlington style.

No! Reid and his crew drafted the wrong players. Graham over JPP, not taking Earl Thomas ect..

What I mean is taking the BPA at the Defensive side of the ball. Don't you think It would be idiotic if the Eagles was on the clock and the BPA was a RB or TE and they take him?
