really, it's a piece of shit right now. I hate being so negative but it's hard to look long term and feel good about anything

    hahahhaaaa!

in the nfl, you can go from worst to first very quickly. look at KC. they will be 4-0 after next week.

i think this city is cursed and wont contend as long as i am alive...but that's just me.

isn't winning a superbowl either, they will at least provide some needed entertainment to their fanbase. I'm really down on this team though. Thinking about vick and the secondary and going for two for the sake of going for two, Howie roseman, Donovan mcnabb's halftime speech etc etc. I just don't see this trending up anytime soon. Even if they drafted Teddy B, that would only mean he was going to suck. Total negaldelphian right now, I don't know how Anthony lives like this.

Settle down this isn't the Jacksonville Jaguars. If today told you anything it's that the teams in the East are crap. I'm not saying that they'll contend this year but the future isn't that bleak in my opinion. Just get to the dance in 2014 if the NFL proves anything it's that it's just as easy for the 6 seed to win the SB than it is the #1 seed.

I get where you're coming from, but disappointment usually comes from unrealistic expectations. 1st yr of rebuilding this is a 6-10 team.
Cowboys last SB win is old enough to drink beer

I don't get it--it seems like everyone on this board knew this would be a rebuilding year, now it seems like I see all of these posts like this. As Kelly said after the Skins game, it was only one game--if people had unrealistic expectations after that game, they shouldn't have had.

I had them at 6-10 to start the season. My expectations didn't change. I don't care how many games they win this season. That's not what I'm looking at. I HAVE FF FATIGUE SYNDROME. It's like he never left. It's like Andy is still running this team. I didn't form any expectations after the skins game. I am tired of watching the same bullshit. If you can't fix turnovers, than you have a personnel issue to fix. I've watched nothing get fixed.

This team is a few good safety away from being decent. Don't lose hope. Find a replacement for Nate Allen and we're back in business! He's gotta be the worst safety I've seen!

This team can't fix all the personnel issues in a single offseason. FF left the team, specifically the defense, in a pretty horrific state. It's certainly going to be a long haul; look at teams like the Seahawks or the 49ers - it took them several years to bring in enough talent to become top-caliber teams.

It's hard to judge a team that has Mike Vick at the helm of the offense and a defense whose best player might be Cary fucking Williams. I just hope that the talent that the team does have at the moment (McCoy, Peters, DeSean) are still around and kicking once they do bring some more talent in.
To run with the big dogs you have to be a big dog, dumb fuck.
