Conf. to Diggle, IG and Athens

Did my first ever trail run race this morning at my local park trail system. 4 miles of rooty, rocky single track with 550 ft of climbing. Came in 20th overall and 5th in my age bracket. Winner had a crazy time for such technical trails of 31.5 min, I have happy to come in just under 42 min.

We gots to plan something for next year!

Thinking about that when I was running the trails (all at sea level) this morning. We gotta figure something out. Definitely need to do one more obstacle one so we can see Diggle in Barbarian-Beast mode tear that shit up.

Other than that maybe a decent trail run. Never really done one. And I want to do one run with IG somewhere along the line. He's always yakking about that Sea Isle City sand and humidity ten-miler.

Asphaltwise, I'll be up those ways doing the Philadelphia Marathon in November and hopefully the Broad Street Run in the spring. Going to try to hit the Redskins game after the Philly Marathon. We'll see how that works out.
