      and bowa is a really good bench coach/third base coach. I'm okay with it.

      one thing that happen to charlie was that he lost jimmy williams after 2008. reports are that jimmy pretty much handled all the switches and things like that.

        Larry Bowa was fine. His style just wasn't the best for pussies like Pat Burrell.

          Mistake? Bad Move? Son, That Would Be Great!

          This team needs a little spirit, a little fire and Bowa is just the guy who can supply it. The fact that he is so close to Sandberg is another positive, plus he's always been a favorite with the fans.

          Everybody except you, of course!

            I have no problem with it. They're in the camp that they won't take lazy shit from their players. If nothing else, it will present a unified front.
