Looking t that Randal fake kneel-down vid got me to thinking about the Buddy Era, how I talked to them both when they were Eagles ball boys at West Chester...and yeah how old I am...but that's another story.
Most every NFL assistant aspires to a head coaching gig and Rex achieved it but at the cost of the whole NY scrutiny thing, having his life picked apart, etc. I know he brings a lot of it on himself but there is still a cost.
On the other hand Rob is relatively anonymous famous for his looks and animated sideline demeanor. he has had a bunch of NFL stops and is currently coaching in one of the world's great party towns. He's got a rep for being a great defensive coach even though some of his defenses have gotten torched.
Oh well, just some random Ryan thoughts at the start of the day.
Oh yes, and DALLAS SUCKS
