I'm not sure what to say about Lou Reed. It is easy to say that he was the godfather of punk, but he was more than that. He was alternative and underground at all points of his career, not only when he was "Rock n Roll Animal" singing "Sweet Jane." Whatever the era, he was the misbegotten brother of the pop scene of the hour, the brother kept in the basement with his drums and his guitar, lights out, observing the world, riffing and not caring about the success of his work.Originally posted by Ellsworth View Post

heard that song on the radio tonight driving home
