  • What would it be like to have homefield adv again?

You can hear the raider fans screaming on 3rd down. Will that ever happen at the Linc?? The place is emotionless....

The Linc sounds like a morgue compared to this place

Hate to say it but this place sounds loud as hell, especially on that false start on 3rd down.

Who wants it loud in a football stadium. Lurie may have to strain his voice to talk to the other people in his box with him. Quiet stadiums for the bussiness clients is the wave of the future. GOLD STANDARD

The football game is secondary in the pleasure palace.

The PA system is plenty loud at the Linc.

Who needs crowd noise when you can listen to Blurred Lines, etc. on the PA?

Has the Linc ever really represented any sort of homefield adv? It had to have been better than it is currently, although there was more to cheer for on the field in the first few years.

                I don't live in Philly

but wouldn't that be an indictment of the fans and not the team? The Raiders are getting beat pretty handily and their fans are still loud. What does that say about fans at the Linc?

The only 2 games I can think of that I was at that the crowd was insane was a Giants Playoff game. And in 08 i think it was the last game of the season when they needed a dallas loss in a 1:00 game or a Eagles win in the 4:00 game and dallas lost so they were in the playoffs and the game didn't matter it was just a giant party.

It says a lot about the type of fans (guests) the Linc attracts.

Ticket prices are part of that. I have been to the Linc 4 times now and this last trip shocked me the most. I couldn't believe the amount of Cowboy fans at the game wearing Dallas jersey's. Most were just sitting down watching the game quietly. We had this one piece of shit in front of us mouthing the entire game. He ended up getting tossed out but I have to believe in the Vet he would had gotten the shit beat out of him.
