  • The Dope Sheet.... Eagles @ Packers

Use them if you like. Or not.

    Eagles at Lambeau on Sunday

This first link is the media-information package that the Packers send out before each contest. Loaded with info on both teams, their previous match ups and lots more

Below are two aggregator sites that grab pretty much all of the news/tweets about the Packers and their upcoming opponents. You can set up the first one, "sportspyder" for any sports team and it'll get you everything you want

This next one is just Packers, but grabs the local rags as well as the national stuff

Your number 1 source for Green Bay Packer news, audio and video!

Here's a snippet from The Dope Sheet:

"Sunday's contest marks the 38th time the Packers and Eagles have met in the regular season, with Green Bay holding a 24-13 edge in the series. The teams have met three times in the postseason, with Green Bay winning one of those games."

"It will be a matchup of the top two teams in the NFC since 2000. Green Bay has a 136-80 regular-season record (.630) over that span, No. 1 in the conference, while Philadelphia checks in at No. 2 " (129-87-1, .597).

Shall we dub it the Sherman-Reid Memorial Bowl?

There are so many inter-connections between these teams its really pretty amazing when you look at some of them

Ray Rhodes goes to GB from Philly, Reid goes to Philly from GB.

HC Sherman screwed the pooch in the 4th and 26 game vs Eagles and that cost him a shot at several HC jobs.

Eagles DC Billy Davis coached with Packers head coach
Mike McCarthy and quarterbacks coach Ben McAdoo on San Francisco’s
staff in 2005 and with Capers in Pittsburgh and Carolina...Packers DL coach is Mike Trgovac who spent 4 years in Philly

Lots more including sharing Reggie White, Doug Pederson, The Detmers, Jeff Thomason and now the two Matthews brothers

And yes Chuckie was in GB at the same time as Reid and Mariucci as well as Marty Morningwheg and Dick Jauron

Didn't Antonio Freeman spend a year in Philly at the end of his career ?

Here's the scouting report from the Journal -Sentinel's Bob McGinn
He adds comments from scouts and personnel guys each week

"If Rodgers were in uniform, one executive in personnel said he'd call it, 42-35, for the Packers. Without Rodgers, he's calling it, 35-17, for the Eagles."

"Seneca Wallace is horrible and the Green Bay defense has zero pass rush," the scout said Wednesday. "This is a complete disaster for the Green Bay defense to have to face without a quarterback.

"The Eagles probably will put up 400 yards passing. This guy (coach Chip Kelly) is an aggressive play-caller. They are fabulous on the road and they have no injuries, to speak of.

"This will be a major victory for the Eagles to get right back in the NFC East race."

                          Lots more in the report

Roger that; here's a few to soothe your senses

A personnel director for an AFC club called it for Green Bay, 24-21.

"I do believe Wallace will be better after preparing all week as the starter opposed to coming off the bench," the scout said. "You will see a different level of confidence, composure and competence.

"Let's see if the real Nick Foles shows up against the Green Bay secondary
