Could his offense work with a skilled game manager at QB? surrounded with good to great skill players?
I already got burned once with the "Foles Gold" last season; it was hurt players and the team had its run under Reid, giving up. So last season Foles was a rookie, missing starters and his record reflected it; now in 10 starts he beat Tampa 2 and Oakland, gaining 2 offensive player of the week honors and tying a record for TD passes.
If in the same time frame Foles was a first round Pick, would we still look at his record and pick apart his game if in year two he came in and did what he has done so far?
I am starting to think Dallas was a Injury and nerves, Foles in his 9th game, playing for first place, at home and he played his worst game followed by his best. Call it a great comeback off of a loss.
Look at our "Big Red" in KC who is winning with A. Smith and a defense, Kelly could do the same here in Philly? No?
We have 3 winnable games now that Rodgers is out and we could be 7-5 with a respectable defensive showing. This team could Jockey for a Playoff spot in Kelly's first season. Given the fact the NFL is weak this year.
