  • Tony Dorsett interview played on Mike and Mike

The guy I remember was one of the most engaging, dynamic speakers I'd ever heard for a football player. Now, he's starting to sound like a punch drunk boxer. Christ what a shame but he has the same brain disease that had Andre Waters killing himself.
John Erlichman, one of President Richard Nixon's closest aides, has admitted America's "War on Drugs" was a hoax designed to vilify and disrupt "the antiwar left and black people" when it was launched in 1971.

Yeah, it was tough to listen to. You have to def feel for the guy and his loved ones.

he and staubach were the core of the cowboys that i grew up despising. Seems like they both destroyed us every time we played them.

McCoy reminds me a great deal of Dorsett and not just because they are both Pitt guys. They both kind of skate when they run with tremendous explosion into the hole. But LeSean is nowhere as open field fast as Dorsett was. A tiny bit of class on an otherwise shitheel Dallas team. What a shame.

i think shady is more explosive in first 5 yards and has some of the quickest feet i've ever seen.

Dorsett was a true thoroughbred. He was so great. He got to top speed quickly and was a flat out Home Run hitter every time he got the ball. Was a very tough runner between the tackles too.

he was truly a fantastic running back. him and payton were amazing to watch when i was a kid.

Yeah but he's rich and got to play a kid's game for a living. Fuck 'em.

Sad... and likely to be a preview of Aikman's future

I'd be very worried if I were him

There really are very, very few backs who can take it to the house from any distance on the field on any given play. Dorsett was one of them.
