I started it but I wasn't trying to do a total hijack.

I do believe that veterans should seek and receive any treatment or assistance they need for mental health issues both in active duty and when they return.

I snarked it up with the current NFL news but it's a genuine sentiment.

I served in The US Navy!

I could entertain you for hours with Sea Stories about my service, but this is my favorite.

After one cruise, the ship I was on stopped in Belfast Ireland, we went ashore to visit a pub, where I met a young Irish Lass, during the course of our encounter she asked me where I was From. I said a small town outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

She said "what town"?, I answered Croydon, She asked "What Street"?
I answered Pennsylvania Avenue, she asked "what number"?

I said 909, She said, "Oh My God, my Sister lives at 905"!

Before I left she gave me a package to take to her sister.

That was an experience I never forgot, "It's a small world after all".
