  • Time to cut Maclin loose?

Now that Riley Cooper has emerged as a stud.

Gonna cost some bucks to bring him back.

word is Chip wants him to come back as long as he's healthy. A prove me contract may not be too bad for next year.

Personally I want to see them get someone bigger that can catch in traffic and grab one in the End Zone.

      Cooper is a douchebag.

      Maclin is replaceable.

I'd offer Maclin a fair market contract but nothing more.

My guess is that he'll get an offer the Eagles won't match. Why keep Maclin when you have Coop?

I think he'll come kind of cheap, something short with incentives.

I think it's also important to note that Kelly's offense is looking productive and the players seem excited to be in the system.

I'm not saying guys will take a discount to play here, I'm just saying that could be attractive to potential free agents.

I think they'll offer Maclin something but they won't tag him. My thinking is Reid goes after him and offers a better deal. Nice knowin' ya. Not a big loss even without Cooper.
