They can be worth first round picks. If they don't suck as bad a Richardson apparently does.

Richardson sucks more than most 1st round picks. But in general, how many 1st round RBs live up to the draft position?

Much of their success depends on their offensive line. Good ones in college make them look awesome and average OLs in the NFL make them look mediocre.

I'd use a first on AD, Shady, Charles and Beast Mode. IMO those are the four where you get the value of a first round pick. If Foster could stay healthy, which he can't, I'd add him to the list too.

In general though, RB in today's NFL is a plug and play type position for sure.

Richardson + Ingram are major busts, but Lacy looks legit... which is funny since he was probably the least heralded of that group.
