  • Of the last 6 opponents...EVERY ONE OF THEM

is in the bottom 10 of pass defense.

Foles has a great chance to grab this job long term.
..and if he doesn't...can't use the "he played good defenses" crutch.

how about, "it will basically be his first 16 starts so it's like a rookie year for him"?

he will probably have a bad game or two. it's going to happen...it's how he responds to them and if they get less and less.

also, it's how bad the bad game is. if he has another bad game but it's not even close to dallas bad...okay then...that is an improvement.

He doesn't get the rookie year, unfortunately, because of the current situation. Chip has to make a long term decision because of how QB stacked this draft is going to be...and Foles has to make his case in these next 6 games. imo.

The year McNabb came out, the draft was supposed to be stacked at qb ... and he was the only guy who had big time success.

Name the lock franchise qb out there.

As for pass defenses stats ... you need more than stats in a vacuum ... I have to see the team, not the stats.

Teams may throw on a team due to the game situation ... like when they're way behind and are being given pass plays in a prevent or whatever.

It's like 4th down conversion stats ... 4th and inches is put in the same overall stat as 4th and 20.

I agree 100%, keep the guy you know can win and build a bad ass defense around him. Hey you going to join our picnic on Sunday?

I wasn't commenting on whether Foles is the guy ... I was commenting on how part of the equation for evaluation is (or isn't) what the pass defense stats are of the opponent.

I'm going to the game but am iffy for the picnic ... will try to make it in time for the Tuaca.

Ok..I've seen all of these teams play...

Can we agree that Chicago, Dallas, Wash, and Minnesota have terrible defenses at least?

Detroit and Arizona have their moments, I guess....
