you don't give up a young slugger entering his prime who's cheap and under team control for years for an over-30 slugger who has already shown signs of decline. Bautista is still great and I'd love to get him in Philadelphia, but not at the expense of Brown.

Bautista wouldn't be my first pick for sure. I guess I'm just not a believer in brown. I probably undervalue him but I just don't think he's someone to build a team around. Outside of that great stretch he had where he set the league on fire, he's pretty run of the mill., I'm sure some nerds will cone in and drop some advanced sabermetrics on me, I'm just basing my opinion on what my eyes are telling me. Plus he's a cowfag fan and proud of it.
