Eagles D has allowed 21 or less in 8 of 10 games

For all the worry about the defense I think they've been ok. They've only given up more than 21 points in 2 of the 10 games.

Washington scored 27 the 1st game but 7 of that was the fumble return in the 1st quarter.
Kansas City scored 26 but 7 was from the interception return.

If you take away the Denver game, which was atrocious, they haven't been that bad.

If they continue to give up less than 21 a game I think winning the division and playoff game or two is perfectly reasonable.

That's definitely an optimistic take on it. The defense is improving from the atrocity it evolved into throughout the dream seasons and mcdermott years. The run defense is pretty damn good. I can't complain, they have seemingly improved weekly but they have lots of holes. Fletcher and williams are benefiting from the refs calling games a little looser in terms of pi and ic (at least it appears that way). I think the secondary is probably under talented. They don't get to the qb often and go through waves of not being able to generate pressure. Wolff seems like a pretty good blitzer. Ryans is making plays. The defense bends, a lot but hasn't broken, I'm waiting for a game where they really impose their will on a good offense before I would deem them capable of winning multiple playoff games. It is nice to see renewed effort on that side of the ball again. They gang tackled last week and did a really good job on lacy which was probably a side effect of rodgers' absence.

If they continue this pace for the next 3 weeks, that Detroit game will be a huge test to see what direction this defense is going.

Need to ad lb depth too. Cole sure isn't the future OLB and I have my doubts in graham. Kyle van noy or if we bomb the rest of the year Anthony Barr are the people I want in the first.

Either corner from Florida would be a nice pick in the second. I don't think the corner from Oregon lasts til that time.

Also been looking at Kenny ladler and kurtis Drummond to add help or replace Nate Allen at safety. Even though Allen has been playing a thousand times better than he was the past few years.

My dreams to sign Greg hardy in free agency.

Fletcher was a very good find. Howie and his team deserve high marks for that signing.

yeah Fletcher is a keeper for now, Williams blows, and I would replace Alllen with the Alabama safety.
