  • Eight teams have 3 wins or less...

...with only six weeks to go in the season.

the NFL product has been in decline for some time. I still like watching and going to the games but there is so much more dreck in the league these days.
    Officially awaiting Douchebagnacht II since

Fantasy points production from the "shield". Without a franchise QB or a stout defense you are done. Instead of raising the competition where every team has a shot, rules have made it "2 hand touch" and now defense's are at an disadvantage.

Teams now have no learning curve with draft picks and need to be NFL ready right out of college; there is going to be drafts where SEC colleges will continue to dominate the draft.

Contraction is a normal part of business and maximum growth has already been realized with the NFL. Teams are losing fans at the Games, pricing them out and other avenues to watch the game are more attractive. Would you ever think Pittsburgh would not sell out for home games? currently there are 4 teams that have trouble selling out home games.

I think the next wave of TV deals will reflect this trend, As a season ticket holder for 25 years The NFL needs to rethink its branding model. I know I am about at the ceiling in terms of cost vs. value. I am getting old and the big screen, own bathroom, kitchen, NFL package is a whole lot cheaper then going to 10 games a year.

Just sad.... BTW a win would be nice
