You are talking about talent right? Oregon came pretty close to beating Auburn in the BCS national championship game. FSU hasn't gotten to that point. We don't know what to expect here out.

The worst part about all of this is that it opens the door for osu. I can see winston having to sit because of a rape charge and osu winning against a team without their starting qb. I don't have a problem with fsu being in the championship game as much as I do osu. I'll be routing for msu next week. I do agree that bama is still the best team in the ncaa. It wouldn't break my heart if duke and msu won and setup a potential rematch of auburn and bama. If fsu makes it, I just hope winston plays. Fuck osu.

The argument of "you can only play who's on your schedule" is not as compelling when you control part of said schedule.

Alabama has a much tougher conference schedule, so they can get away with scheduling weaker teams for their non conference games without having to deal with the "weak schedule" argument.

Well Ells closed the conversation with me because I said despite Bama losing on one of the greatest plays in college history against their #1 state rival, I am clueless. If they played 10 times Bama at least win 8 games.

Thats what people argue is so great about college football though. Yeah the BCS is horeshit but it essentially makes every week a playoff game.

People are always going to bitch, if its not about who should be the top 2 teams it will be who should be the top 4 teams, top 8 teams, top 16 teams etc.

No Ells I was really saying Auburn. Bama had the game wrapped up at least 3 times but they had a shitty freshman kicker.

I didnt get to watch most of the game, I got home from Gainesville in time to watch Auburn tie it up 28-28. It sounded like the Alabama coaching staff came up small all game, especially when they decided to put that freshamn kicker out there for a 60 year field goal in the biggest college football game of the year.
