and despite the handful of nitwits that want him to fail or think he's using the Eagles to go back to college my bet is he is here for a long time to stay.

Will the real Anthony please stand up?

All I know is that football is fun and important to me again, even the nail biting parts, and I am not even expecting them to blow it at the end anymore. Much is changing from the FF area....The crux of the biscuit is the apostrophe'

But, yeah, when Chip has had a full off-season to shape the roster, this team should be pretty solid. Considering talent and circumstances, this is a 7-win team MAX, and anything above that is a testament to the whole coaching staff.Last edited by Dan Drives a Van; 12-01-2013, 11:07 PM.

Wolff, Logan, Johnson and Ertz are looking pretty good. I'm actually looking forward to seeing where we are this time next season with next year's draft class.
Hell, they're even getting decent play out of Graham and Allen. Seems like a good coaching staff."If I was racist in my opinion of QB's, I wouldn't have a dog named Donovan." - downundermike

Reid kept filling out his coaching staff with 'Reid guys' instead of proven veteran coaches. I have nothing against Mike Zordich and Mike Caldwell, but are they really gonna get more out of players than guys who have been doing it for more than a year or so?
The current defensive backs coach, John Lovett, has 35 years of experience. Considering the mediocre talent we have at DB, I'd say the results speak for themselves.

I Have Determined This Is NOT The Real Anthony
It is obviously a pod person from outer space who has the real, pessimistic, criticizing, complaining Anthony locked away in a room somewhere.
I mean, come on, the last time Anthony didn't complain about the Eagles or anything associated with them was two days in November, six weeks before the turn of the century!
The last time he said anything even remotely optimistic was 1998. You could look it up.Last edited by Kelly Green; 12-02-2013, 04:02 AM."If I owned Texas and Hell, I'd rent out Texas and live in Hell!"

Already has more wins than I expected all season. And doing it with a roster that is short of top shelf talent. What's not to like?
I was on the fence but have been won over. Really want to believe Foles is the long term answer but still unsure about him.

At some point the good fortune runs out and then we will see what we have. He made about three really impressive passes yesterday, had three passes that should have been picks and then the rest of the day was up and down.
The bottom line is while Foles has been good this season (I'm not denying that) the amount of lucky plays he has enjoyed is something I've never seen before. Part of it is clearly Chip Kelly's coaching of the receivers positioning on deep balls to break up INTs but another part of it is completely non-quantifiable."You'll get nothing and like it!" I want a big, pocket passer to succeed in this town. We've seen three of the all time best running QB's. Tired of it. I don't know if Foles is the guy yet, but I sure do want him to be. Likable guy, too. Extremely impressed that he didn't keep one souvenir ball from his 7 TD game. McNabb would have kept all of them.
