  • Jackson's punt return

I was at the game and those twits officiating the game were making everyone want to throw shit but I haven't read the entire board, and this may have been answered already.

Why was the hold at the 20 assessed from the place Jackson fielded the ball instead of at the spot of the foul?

It was deemed to happen while the ball was in the air...so it's from the spot of the catch.

Complete fuck up of a call.

That last call to ice the game can be argued, but the zebras fucked the Eagles 3 times within about a 5 minute span between that one, the awful call against avant on Shady's run, and then the no-call on Coop where the defender never attempted to turn around and then mugged him.

Yeah ... I knew he was gone and was losing my mind ... didn't see the flag until he was almost at the goal line

DeSean back there completely changes that aspect of the game, as we all know. It goes from Johnson where you're just hoping he doesn't fumble to 10 where the opposing team has to gameplan to not let him beat you.

Hell, Boykin and Brad Smith got a couple kickoff past the invisible wall at the 20 a couple times.

Kick coverage has been solid too. Donnie Jones is the best punter in the NFL right now.

Special teams has been a huge turnaround this year, minus Henery being a bum.

I caught the ref throwing the flag and he was waiting to see what transpired before he threw it. Jackson was already over the 50yd line and was making the cut to the Eagles sideline when the guy threw it, which is bogus if the hold happened with the ball in the air. Total asshat call.

The replay clearly showed Kurt Coleman tackled a guy 25 yards away from the play before Jackson even caught the ball. Grabbed the outside of his shoulder pads and jersey and threw him to the ground. As blatant a hold as you'll ever see. It sucked, but it was the right call. The worst part is it was completely unnecessary for Coleman to do that.

The refs ID'd the wrong player. It was Coleman while the ball was in the air.

Reason in homerville is a rare thing. That was your garden variety, standard-issue, needless, Kurt Coleman mugging. Why is that sack of crap still on this football team?

Yep...and there was a long Shady run too where Avant clipped someone for no reason as well.

Coleman just had to stand there and it was an easy TD
