I'm happy with how the first season went. Made the playoffs and established a sustainable way of winning going forward. Tough loss on the road to Indy but there is nothing you can do when a QB is playing at the level Luck played at today.

In contrast, look at the Eagles. A game at home against a team that nobody gave a chance, and for good reason, the Saints are awful on the road. For like the 800th time Billy D did everything he could to hand the game to Chip when Chip's gimmick bullshit offense stalled repeatedly, but this time he couldn't do it. Today the clock finally struck midnight for the Eagles and the only thing ahead for the Eagles organization is years of darkness.

Like I said before: everybody on this board knows that the Chiefs are going to the playoffs again next year and that the Eagles will not. We are all agreed on that point. The only question is what will your excuse be then?

Or will you not even bother making excuses and instead try to claim that every Chiefs loss actually proves how good Chip Kelly is?

The Saints did everything they could to give that game away. Everything. But Chip can't win close games when Billy D and the great players King Andy left him get those last second turnovers.

I know you are going to come back with, "we are building a foundation for next year". Save it. King Andy is building the Chiefs a foundation but Chip is just a one trick pony who can only win when teams fall for his gimmick bullshit and turn the ball over 3 times.

No, the Chiefs lost because of a defensive collapse, something you would know if you watched the game. Andy Reid with no talent whatsoever on the offensive side of the ball did his job, he put up 45 points on a really good defense in their own house.

Now the Eagles, they did in fact lose because their HC can't coach for shit. And no, he isn't going to get better. He did this kind of shit all the time at Oregon. Billy Davis has for weeks hidden just how much of a fraud Kelly is, but now we all know. The gimmicks that teams fell for for weeks have been figured out, the Dallas D frickin sucks and they shut the Eagles O down. The Saints D had lost their best players and had no problem keeping Chip's "high octane" offense in check.

And the end of the game the Eagles defense was simply exhausted and could offer no resistance because Kelly left them on the field the entire frickin' game.
