                                To your original point...

                                You seem to forget:
                                1. Foles started the year as a backup.
                                2. The Eagles had a significant injury in training camp. They lost their top receiver.
                                3. The roster Kelly inherited was missing several significant pieces
                                4. The drafting from last year looks really good so far, perhaps it will continue.
                                5. The Eagles were one of the youngest teams in the NFL this year.
                                6. Kelly has shown that he can adjust in game situations.

                                There's a lot of reasons to think that the future is bright.
