  • I'll admit I shed a tear after that game.

Go ahead. Make fun of it. I don't give a shit. It hurts after 40 years of being a fan. I love The Eagles and I always will.

Make fun of what?? You being a good fan. Nothing wrong with that bro. 40 years is a long time. You deserve better. I tell you one thing though. This team is going in the right direction.

Going in the right direction... It's been a while since I really felt that was true, but I'm sure the rest of the NFC East will be getting very little sleep before playing the Eagles next year.

The classic Philly sports fan mindset. It's not right or wrong - it is what it is. Both a shame and a mantle of pride. Love and hate in constant turmoil.

            Only 40 Years?

I went to my first Eagles game in Shibe Park in 1948.

But still, fuck Alex Henery...I think his kickoff performance pissed me off more than the FG choke

                    It was a nice run.

I had them winning 7 games. That they did what they did with the crap Andy left on defense is astounding.

Sucks that the season's over and there aren't....

....anymore games. It also sucks that we have to wait a whole year just to HOPEFULLY be back to this point.

Finishing first leaves a much tougher schedule...

but I have faith in Chip to get us back in the playoffs.
