  • Vick Officially Gone

I mean, I guess it's possible no other team will sign him to be their starter, but according to Mike, he's going to take any starter job over the backup job here.

I don't mind that Vick wants to find starter money--it's his business. I'd be surprised if he does, but the bail costs for his brother keeps piling up, so it might be a necessity.

The classic Philly sports fan mindset. It's not right or wrong - it is what it is. Both a shame and a mantle of pride. Love and hate in constant turmoil.

Nobody will anoint him starter. He will get an incentive laden contract at best and he will have to judge if that is worth it compared to some guaranteed money as a backup. He will go where the most earnings are, wherever that is, and you can't blame him for it since he has just gotten out of bankruptcy and only has one more payday to establish a legacy for his family.
