  • Henery says it's science.

"It’s science, the ball is not going to travel as far when it’s cold," Henery said. (Yes, he actually said that.) "The last kickoff, I was happy with where it went. It was two yards deep, into the wind. He just got outside of us. We have to cover better, and we could always have better kicks."
Now you know the rest of story. Chump.

Roster construction is Art. Happy he's gonna get cut and not have enough service time to draw a pension. He's shanked his last NFL kick. Have fun substitute teaching in Omaha next year, asshole.

The head coach there can use film of his kicks to show his players what NOT to do on kickoffs.

              #1 and #2 offseason priorities

Cut Henery and Carmichael...horrible game for both at the worst possible time. Shayne Graham(who has played for 10 teams) owned Henery...should tell you everything you need to know. Our punter is awesome though.

The kickoffs between the two were pretty similar, I think Henery had the only touchback, but that missed FG was a killer.

Yeah, Brad Smith had a lot of returns. That he ran straight up the middle to the 25.

Carmichael is terrible, but only made this roster due to lack of depth at CB

Henery on the other hand was the highest drafted kicker that year, and was supposedly a can't-miss kicker. Piece of shit. Zero leg strength.

It is science. It's science that he just doesn't have a very strong leg, so physics dictates he can't kick the ball very far. Science.

I'll be the first to admit I was thrilled when the Birds drafted him since he was an absolute stud at Nebraska...IMO, a can't miss at the time.

He's been such a major disappointment. That f'n FG attempt was bad from the moment it left his foot...not "science" or weather related...he just pulled the damn thing.

And I thought he had been kicking pretty good overall the last month or so...and now this...ughh.

Any kicker who can't hit a 48 yarder with consistency shouldn't be on an NFL roster. This weak ass kid needs to be cut ASAP.
