The second they got to the thirty I would of kept my timeouts, hoped they were stupid enough to go inside the ten yard line so they couldn't get another first down and then use my TOs. If they score a TD, fine. Let the offense get out there with about 1:30 or 2:00... I'll take my chances

I posted that same thought in Slag's thread. Not a knock on Kelly, because if the Eagles don't come back and win it there would always be those that said he gave away the lead.

I could see exactly what was going to happen, but that would have been a balls to the wall call.

If the Eagles let NO score when they were around the 20, all NO needed to do was take a knee after gaining 10 yards and another 1st down and run out the clock anyway.

The Eagles would have needed to concede a score much earlier once NO was in field goal range.

After they had a first down inside the thirty. I know it is stupid but I didn't think the defense gave them as much if a chance as the offense.

All hypothetical I guess. I've only seen Green Bay let a team score and that was years ago.

New Orleans would not have scored a TD there. They would have pulled off a Celek and slide inside the 5 then kill more clock and kick a chip shot. The game was over when the D let them get that last first down running it down their throats. The D should have just stopped them like they are paid to do. It's not like they were going to throw at that point.
