Very little is bring made of his disappearing act. Foles was Foles, but great receivers get open. Regardless of Jackson though, this team needs to add a receiver.

Yeah, WR is a weird situation right now. We kinda have to keep Cooper because he has such good chemistry with Foles...and DJax has a monster year but...it still feels like we need to upgrade the position but there isn't really a spot available.

Is Coop really good enough play the y? He showed us he's an nfl receiver, but a starter?

Add a receiver? What? Maclin and Coop will be resigned...and did you not see the 3rd and 4th quarter when Djax started making plays as soon as that Keenan Lewis(who was shoving him around the whole 1st half by the way) went out?

835 yards and 8 TDs. Probably more if Foles started the year. That is WR2 starting calibre. Let Maclin and his injury walk.

Well we can just hope the starting corners get injured in the playoffs next year I guess. I'm not saying dump him, he had a monster year and is a legit #1. That's the puzzle here, even though they are "good enough" it feels like we could do better.

lots of stars didn't play up to their level. Djax was one of them.

                Precisely. Something seems missing

I think they will bring back Maclin on a 1 year deal to test how far he has come on his recovery...I heard the other day he will be ready in April. And coop needs to be resigned long term, 4 years.

Jackson had the best year of his career in 2013. He earned his money. As far as disappearing, that's on the coaches. They could call easy passes to get his head in the game early and Foles doesn't have to wait for Jackson to be wide open to throw the ball. Playmakers can only make plays if you throw in their direction once in a while.

DJax can't throw to himself. His first catch was a huge play when we were down 20-7. His rac on a 3 yard pass for a first down later in the game was great. And the PI he drew before Ertz's TD could have been a game winning play if the special teams and defense had held up. He also had a very nice punt return. I'm not putting much of this loss on him.

Um.....Foles doesn't throw to anyone unless they are wide open. He takes no risks. Throwing to someone who is double covered every play is a risk and Foles takes no risks.

Ummm-I think you better go back and look at some of the games. Doesn't throw the ball unless the guy is wide open? You must be confusing him with Vick. Right off the top of my head, I can think of--

55 yd TD pass to Jackson against GB when he was double covered
37 yard pass to Celek last week against the Cowboys
10 yard TD pass to Cooper last night and he wasn't exactly wide open

I'm sure I can come up with about 10 more.
