  • Who is this guy?

I actually pretty much agree with what he has to say here, but that's not what I found interesting.

What I found most interesting are his final two words in the section: "Okay so, can the loss against the New Orleans Saints be spun as a moral victory?'

The Philadelphia Eagles surprising season came to a screeching halt Saturday night against the New Orleans Saints. So deal with the drool as best you can and consider these five questions regarding your Philadelphia Eagles.

To Me, The Best Point Was In His Critique Of Foles

The dude made me sit up and cheer when he said this about Nick Foles. I highlighted the part I found most on point:

"...if you compare Foles stats this year to Donovan McNabb's from his second season, the Napoleon Dynamite lookalike presents a clear-cut better option. Foles had a higher completion percentage, more yards per attempt, more yards per game, more touchdowns, and fewer turnovers. Perhaps most notably (for all those drinking out of Chris Collinsworth's glass) he took less sacks."

Right on! Foles doesn't have a tenth of McChunky's skill as a runner but he's not afraid to use it when he has to or when he sees the chance. As such he didn't hold the ball as long praying somebody would get open so he didn't have to run, and he threw the ball away instead of running out of bounds taking a sack.

    Excellent find, Boss Man!

I like people who say what I say, and I've been saying for awhile that if Foles was a first rounder nobody would question his status.

Lurie wouldn't have even been asked if he's a franchise QB.

There would have been a helluva lot of other questions before Kelly got here. Did anyone project Foles in the first round?

Dilfer did. I'll take Slag's point a step further. If Foles was drafted in 2013 as "Kelly's Guy," ESPN and NFL network would've been doing interviews with Foles' entire family in his living room. You'd hear the storyline about how a genius college HC surprised everyone and took a pocket passer and turned him in to the greatest rookie QB ever.
