Yeah, but they actually have a guy named Brady. He makes a lot of types of offenses look good. Patriots had a pretty good offense when it was vertical before 09, too. Look at the points the Pats put up when Gronk and Hernandez are out, the production doesn't drop because Brady is the key. Not some formation or the amount of tight ends. This draft the Eagles took a LT, when they have the premier one. They took a qb when they have 2 already, they took a TE when they have 2. They got better how?

Chip and crew didn't get talent in FA. They got cheap players off bad years. Fletcher and Chung were benched. Phillips can't stay healthy. As bad as Nnamdi and DRC were, they weren't that bad. Connor was miserable last year. This is the worst defense in the NFL and it might not be close. On offense, this team isn't that much better other than getting the OLine back. The TE play should be better, but Johnson is raw and there is a stud LT coming back. Can Johnson even be swung to the right side or is he too raw?

he doesn't count the pass plays during the read option. that just kills his thesis. the bottom line is that the two worst defenses in football are the Redskins and Chargers, draw what inferences you can. 16 points against the chiefs, three big runs, and that was it.
