New show started on HBO last night. I thought it was really good. I like both Harrelson and McConaughey's work and this seems like it's going to be real dark and entertaining.

I loved it ... I'm not sure if you know this, but I believe I read that the show will change detectives/stories every year.
In other words, this story will wrap up after the 8 episodes this season and won't go on after that.Obscenity is the last refuge of an inarticulate motherfucker.Comment

Yeah, like American Horror Story (if you are familiar with that). Although AHS rolls over some of it's cast from season to season, but not all of it. Not sure if True Detective will do that.
