why is there so much draft talk going on when there is still foootball being played? Are the championship games that bad? I think they should be pretty good.

I think it's the excitement of what Kelly has done and what Howie has done in the last 2 drafts. Fans can't wait to see what they do in their 2nd year together. I saw a column--I don't know if it was Roob or someone else is that the scuttlebutt around the league is that a lot of the premier FAs see what Kelly and Davis did in the first year and they have told their agents if the Eagles come calling, they would like to play for the team.

It's not being billed as New England versus Denver. Sorry, but I can't stomach that. I have a little more interest in the NFC game, but not much.

My enthusiasm for the draft comes from my belief that Chip and Howie see what we see and will fill the right holes. Never felt that way about the FF and Banner.
