After what Cook got last year, Graham is going to get HUGE money. I'm not sure if the Saints can afford market value, even if the clear some cap.

Here's the problem the Saints have. If they franchise Graham, he is already saying he should be franchised as a WR instead of a TE because they split him out more. The other problem is their RT, Zach Strief and their center are also FAs. Brees has said he'll do whatever it takes to free up some money. It'll be interesting that's for sure.

They can cut James Casey and it'll cost them 1M. Re-sign Maclin--and you have a recieving corps of Ertz, Celek, Graham, Maclin and Jackson. Or not re-sign Maclin and make a play for Eric Decker.

most likely the latter...but still...it would be a strange topic for a talking head to say knowing the eagles had a really good offense this year and suspect defense.

to me...it rings as being possible because it's so far different from what we have expected. if someone came out and said, "eagles to go after byrd"...no surprise. this one? intriguing.

I believe Decker (and Manning) have made him a HUGE payday when FA starts. If they do sign Graham (I'm not buying it)...there's no way they'd have money for Decker as well.

Wanting to sign a dominating player like Graham would be of interest to pretty much every team in the league. So in that sense it's not a tall tale.

Just read on PFT that the Saints will franchise Graham is they do not reach a long term deal. It's on their website, look it up, I'm too lazy to post the link.
