  • Former Igg Claude Humphrey is in the HOF

Big part of the Vermeil era. Gotta love it.

Kudos to Allentown native Andre Reed. He certainly would have made it sooner if wide right didn't happen.

I realize we saw him at the tail end of a long career, but I never thought of him as an all time great. Glad he made it though. Maybe there's hope for Clyde, but he never seems to be in the conversation.

      Claude had 126.5 career sacks.

That's the same as Derrick Thomas, and would make him in the top 2-3 for current players.

Claude played for some shit teams in Atlanta.

Here's the list, including current players

Look at the guys playing now. Even most of the 40-50 sack guys are in their 30s

I always thought he was an imposing force on the Eagles! Good for him!

I'm sure at least part of his career was in a 14 game season, too.

Edit to add: His first 11 seasons were 14 games. He had 14.5 sacks as a passing rushing specialist for the Eagles in his final season!

He played before they officially kept sack stats. I believe sacks started right at the end of his career around 1980 or something.

Ray Guy. I thought he was deserving of it. Guy was far superior to the punters of his day.
