Or not have a smartphone? I'm not judging you. I think it's a pretty good move if you don't. I can't believe what I pay for this sh*t. How do you young, struggling guys afford it? I pay all of this money to get emojis shot at me and a random KFG Famous Bore text. Oh yeah, I also get the distinct pleasure of checking sports scores while I take a sh*t. It's ridiculous. Remember what we used to do? We planned better. We discussed things before we left the house, we called from our desk phone when we got to the office, we called before we left the office, and we discussed things when we got home. Oh and don't get me started on cable television. What a rip off that is. These bundled packages of tv, internet, and phone? This house phone is totally useless. I get nothing but solicitors, wrong numbers, school announcements for some school I don't have kids in, creditors looking for some guy named Mahmoud......it's insane. I'll hang up and listen to your comments.

Oh. And the youngster doesn't have a house phone
down in Virginia Beach but uses his cell to txt news and stuff to us with the occasional twitter that lets us know what's happening. It was invaluable to us when his carrier came back from its long journey and we were able to get info about when they'd be back, etc. The internet on those ships sucks for sailors. KG might very well have better internet access with his America Online account and eMachine.John Erlichman, one of President Richard Nixon's closest aides, has admitted America's "War on Drugs" was a hoax designed to vilify and disrupt "the antiwar left and black people" when it was launched in 1971.

MetroPCS
I think they merged with T-Mobile, right? And I know some folk have connection and signal issues with them, but here on the east coast it's really ok. Kids bought their phones and we pay their monthly charge.John Erlichman, one of President Richard Nixon's closest aides, has admitted America's "War on Drugs" was a hoax designed to vilify and disrupt "the antiwar left and black people" when it was launched in 1971.

I haven't had a phone at home since 1981. A phone line was not run into this valley until 1988 and we declined to hook up then, and since. If someone wants to get ahold of me, they can leave a message at my office in town. It makes my home a refuge from the world, as one must drive 9 miles to get cell service. I love it at home. We have no computers at home, but do have direct tv of course.

You need them for experience, to develop leather skin. So I got started. Of course along the way you stop thinking about being tough and all that. It stops being the point. You get past the silliness of it all. But then...after...you realize that's what you are.
