Watching Pebble Beach. Phil was miffed at some beachgoers for some reason. Could of been because they where doing lunges while he was getting ready to putt. Or they could of been doing drunk yoga. Not sure.

          this year was

the first in a while where I had a football hangover. Probably not since 2001 or maybe as long as 2003 (typically, those later eagles losses sent me on a 2-4 week anti-sports trip).

This time, I think I'm already for the 2014 edition of the Eagles. I'm sure the Phillies being late 90s dreadful hasn't helped. At least in the early-to-mid 00s, Cholly's Phils appeared to have a shot.

This side of the Flyers, it looks like we'll have to wait until at least next year to enjoy a winning sixers team. Still, they're at least entertaining this year.

Last year, the change in coach was necessary. It was long overdue and it added interest to the off season. This year, after having a taste of the new coaches approach it's going to be interesting to see how Kelly follows up.

I think it's difficult for anybody to say last season was not a success. It will be fascinating to see what Kelly does this off season.

Vacuumed three times today and then searched for a new heatsink for my processor. I wish football was back.

I do like vacuuming though. New shark vacuum. It's pretty good

Kelly's following Reid's footsteps in the sense that as he begins his tenure, the rest of the NFC East sort of sucks or mired in mediocrity. Shouldn't be tough to repeat for the next few seasons. No major fuck ups or injury bugs and the birds ought to be in the conversation for a while. Hopefully this time they can finish the story.

Good weekend to use On Demand to catch up on a

                  lot of stuff.
John Erlichman, one of President Richard Nixon's closest aides, has admitted America's "War on Drugs" was a hoax designed to vilify and disrupt "the antiwar left and black people" when it was launched in 1971.
