Big-City Texas and Backwoods Boonies Texas are two very different cultures. Austin is pretty much the gay Mecca of the south, and that's the capitol and the heart of UT nation.

Still, kudos to this guy for taking a stance some of his audience will undoubtedly be opposed to.

When was the last time a Christian was beaten to death in our streets for being Christian? How often are Christians fired for being Christian? When was the last Christian that was denied the right to see their significant other on their deathbed at a hospital because they were Christian.

I have not seen this huge smear campaign people speak of about Tim tebow. Granted I don't watch a ton of TV. What i do know is many Christians believe they are being persecuted at the slightest hint of anything negative about Christianity.

Do you honestly mean to say the treatmant of christians in this country is as bad or worse then the treatmant of gays? Hell do you think the treatmant of christians in the media is as bad or worse then the treatmant of gays in the media? If so I got a bridge to sell you.

On the other hand, it's pretty clear that you feel tolerance of sexual preference is more important than tolerance of religious belief.
