Best Tweet I've seen in regards to this:

Evan Turner to Indy is a great move for Miami.

They also got a future 2nd rounder in this deal...no surprise...

Does Granger represent ANYTHING for the future, or does he just eat up the salary they needed to spend this year and then they let him walk?

My understanding is...ET and Granger are both FAs after the season and you already knew you weren't resigning Turner. Bring in Granger, maybe he recaptures his old results and you decide to resign him, or he sucks and you let him walk like you would have ET anyway.

Yup. Expiring contract. Gonzo after this season if they just don't release him outright.
John Erlichman, one of President Richard Nixon's closest aides, has admitted America's "War on Drugs" was a hoax designed to vilify and disrupt "the antiwar left and black people" when it was launched in 1971.

Ya. There's been talk of a buyout already...who knows...

It's pretty clear nobody valued Turner at all. Really, all they get is the 2nd, unless Granger plays really well and wants to be part of another long rebuilding effort for not a lot of money.

There was some late buzz about the Sixers, Lakers and Chris Kaman but who knows what the other pieces would have to have been.

Will be interested to see if Thad becomes a draft-day trade piece. Definitely want to keep him, but will he have any desire to pick up his option? The Sixers will have to show some serious improvement next year for him to be interested, I think. Of course, there's always next year's trade deadline, too.
