Valid as well, IMO. I don't think vineyards have anything to worry about, though.

      Good point.

I imagine growing marijuana is easier than distilling moonshine. In time, people growing their own "buzz" may significantly impact commerce.

Getting away from the topic a little, I've noticed some recent reports of "drugged" driving and a Kennedy member fighting against legalization. Both made headlines over the past week. Lobby?

        FUCKA Budweiser and miller.

Think about how many less sick days Americans will take because they're not hung over. Creativity will sky rocket during brain storming sessions at work....Americans will eat more which helps farmers.

There's just so many winners here. I'm just getting started.

If you want to grow a decent amount, it takes around a $600 investment and quite a bit of time/dedication. You've got to have light timers, aerators, 400w bulbs + ballast, nutrients, backup power (if you're really serious). Starting out, you have to make sure you spot the males early and toss them out or they'll ruin your entire batch. Until you get your females big enough to start cloning.

You've also got to check and adjust the pH/levels every day, do water dumps weekly, keep pinning down the branches to make it denser (once the branches are horizontal, new branches will start growing off them, up toward the light) if you actually want to grow a decent amount in a small space.

Edit: That's for hydro. Soil and especially growing outside wouldn't be bad, but the weed wouldn't be nearly as good.

          I've never distilled moonshine, though.

Not so great for the consumer. Last I heard, in Colorado the price of good bud is pretty much double what it was before Jan 1. They said the price would mitigate after a while as supply returned. It hasn't. I suspect price hikes will happen all over the US. That, in turn, might continue to fuel the black market which won't go away if they can offer a cheaper high.

I honestly never thought I'd see a display like this in my lifetime. And it's right down the street.

Can you get a script from a quack like a homeopath?

You can get a script from a quack who used to be a real doctor. The whole medical thing is a scam. Not certain some of them really finished medical school... if they even attended one at all. They check nothing. Nothing. Whatever you put on the application they say ... okay.

Read an article where a journalist went on a quest to get denied a card. Couldn't do it.

And no, never been to Amsterdam. But Travolta said they put mayonnaise on french fries. That dampened my enthusiasm.

Got my card a few months ago. "Insomnia." The prescription system, at least in CA, is the biggest farce it's unbelievable. I went in there expecting to give a big sob story but all they wanted was my 35$ with no questions asked. Hey, I can't complain..
