How the hell does your school add 3 inches to your height?

    per gocards.com:
    Calvin Pryor
    Hometown: Port St. Joe, Fla.
    High School: Port St. Joe
    Height / Weight: 6-2 / 208
    Position: S

He measured at 5'11" at the combine...

He also has short arms and small hands. Don't see it with this guy. He's basically a way less athletic version of Wolff.

he plays bigger than that. I definitely want him to be an eagle if he's on the board at 22, which he very well may be now with this 5-11 measurement. This is the best news the eagles could have had today.

Dude plays the game with bad intentions and has phenomenal instincts. he makes a shitload of tackles. We need a guy like him so badly it's ridiculous. This city would love that kid from day 1.

He was born to play in Philly.

I'd rather get Dix from Bama. Bigger and better in coverage!

They're not taking a S with the first pick, IMO. Its a deep class.

                70 inches that's not even 5-9.

i don't see why people are making a big deal about it. people want tj ward and he's 5'10". byrd from buffalo is also 5'10".

the eagles also talked to a corner from utah that is 6'3".

I'm not saying he'll be a bum, but if the word is that they're looking for taller guys and/or great athletes, then he doesn't really fit either of those descriptions.

Wolff and Boykin aren't that tall, but they have like 40 inch verticals and sub 4.5 speed. I hope Pryor runs well.

Oh, I love his game. I wouldn't bitch at all. I just don't see them taking him in the 1st round unless he tests out crazy, in which case, he'll probably go higher than 22 anyway.

Its a big deal in December and January when the smaller guys get muscled out in the playoffs. The refs allow a much more physical style of play and the WRs they face are better than in the regular season. The slippery field and increased contact changes everything in the playoffs

And interestingly enough that hasn't been a problem for Byrd in Buffalo or Ward in Cleveland, because neither of those teams have been a contender late in the season. Stud safeties in September don't matter as much as ones who can excel later on. Look at the size of the SB winning safeties for a hint

Earl Thomas is 5'10" I don't think size has been a problem for him, Pryor has B Dawk written all over him. If there at 22 take him and this defense will have the attitude its been missing for 4 years.

                              Play maker is a Playmaker!

some guys play bigger than their Height..Im a short ass Mofo but I was killer Rt guard, and a decent safety when I was a kid... 5-11 can work for a safety but sure you would love a rangy guy at 6-1 plus to cover bigger TE's...they are not always the best cover guys,,so its a trade off.
