  • Free Agency post- offense signings

Now that the starting offense seems set, here's what I think may happen in FA:

Safety: Unless Ward or Byrd escape their current teams, it will almost certainly be that stop-gap kind of player added to multiple draft picks. Not really going out on a limb, here.

OLB: I have a feeling something big will happen here. Is it Orakpo? Is it a trade for Jordan?

NT: They went for Sopoaga and Jean-Francois right out of the gate last year. Sopoaga was ineffective, so I doubt they will go after another NT unless it is a young guy (some site mentioned Solilai as a possibility but he is older).

CB: I think this is the first-round pick. Cary Williams is due $8 million next year and Fletcher will be a FA.

I agree about the CB. There will probably be a good one available when they pick in t he first round. Even if they traded down, they'd still end up with someone decent. I hated the Fletcher signing, but the corners were pretty good last year. Add a high pick and they should be solid for a while.

I think they're going to get one of those two safeties, or the next comparable player available. Whoever it is will be the best we've had in a while and start for several seasons.

Safety what about Chris Clemons - 28 - very good coverage safety Dolfins would miss if he moves

NT what about the Bid DT Joseph Giants will be 26 in october to play the nose

CB agree that could be their first pick in the draft if the signed Clemons -

OLB- also either the draft or maybe that trade for Jordon - who knows - there is a reason the kid was drafted # 3 overall last season

Wolff is the only safety under contract

That's scary. I expect the Birds to bring back Nate Allen, sign a serviceable 2nd or 3rd tier free agent, and draft one--maybe even two.

I wrote that he will be a FA next year, meaning 2015
