Trade DeSean

Not now. Too soon. Let 2014 play out and see what they have. We're starting to hear too many stories that Jackson has a dickishness about him from too many sources. Probably is a kernel of truth to it.
But there are prima's in the NFL and every team is going to have a couple of them, especially WR's. If the coaching staff and FO can't deal with that sort of personality it reflects on them as much as the player.

Kempski makes a compelling case, but I could ONLY see that happening as part of a draft-day trade to take a WR of comparable speed and explosiveness. Considering this draft, that could possibly happen. However, if it doesn't happen on draft day, I don't see it happening at all. Chip needs DeSean to stretch the field.

One disappointing play I will never forget
But I am drawing a blank on which game it was. Regardless, it was an important game and an important play.
Jackson caught a pass at the two or 3 yard line and turned toward the end zone. He was stood up and stopped in his tracks by some small defensive back. No size and no strength to get across the goal line. I remember thinking, "Thats what you get with DJax."

Any chance we could land a late 1st rounder/early second? [/QUOTE]
I don't think so. Why would another team take Desean when there are a lot of talented wideouts available in the draft right now?
The only scenario I can think of would be if Belichick thought he could use Desean as a Welker-type in his offense and he dealt the Pats first or second for him.
Only problem with that is it would reflect poorly on Chip Kelly if Desean went to New England and posted monster numbers.
The best scenario here is to just keep using Desean like they have been. He had a pretty productive season in 2013. I don't see a need to deal out of him at this point. Remember, one of the primary reasons Kelly elected to coach the Eagles is the team speed on offense. If you remove Desean Jackson from the lineup the team gets a lot slower."You'll get nothing and like it!" Judge Smails
