Too much for being a 1 dimensional player.

      He's done

I have a couple friends from Chicago. There's a reason why he's an FA.

No he wouldn't. Returns and nothing else.

i think a KO guy who can score any time he touches the ball would be well worth the roster slot just for starters. we've all seen the eagle's KO return game the last, oh, 30 years haven't we?

kelly could def get cute with him for a handful of plays on O as well I'm sure.

see what the market bears. if he's not getting big offers it'd be stupid to not go after him.

He is toast, even the somewhat shaky eagles special teams held him in check, and even forced a fumble.

              what are you guys smoking?

he had the 2nd highest KO return average of his entire career last year and tied his career high of 5 returns of 40+ yards.

let's not get all crazy here. he's only 31 too

Draft De'Anthony Thomas. Younger, cheaper and knows the system.

We'll see if Lovie bites in Tampa
But its often illuminating when the team who knows him best lets him go
Change in coaches played a role and I think the bears ST coach is gone too

Its a young man's game; and he won't be much good in 2015 and beyond when the Eagles are ready to mount their Title run.
Little benefit in acquiring declining players this season

Get players who will be good 2015 - 2018; that's your window imo
                  2013 playoffs
                  2014 deep run
                  2015 - 2018 Go for it

                    He's just returning kicks.

Brian Mitchell was very good return guy for us at the tail end of his career. Those 2 returns for 6 they give you could be difference between a first round bye and missing the postseason completely.

Don't I know it- Packers grabbed WR reject Desmond Howard in '96 and he killed it on punts and kickoffs.
Made a huge difference, including one in the playoffs vs 49ers and one in the SB vs the Pats.

I just think you're 1-2 years away from that moment and Hester's old legs won't be as useful by then. Speed kills, but so does Father Time

500 internet fights, that's the number I figured when I first joined igglephans. 500 internet fights and you could consider yourself a legitimate internet-tough guy. You need them for experience, to develop leather skin. So I got started. Of course along the way you stop thinking about being tough and all that. It stops being the point. You get past the silliness of it all. But then...after...you realize that's what you are.
